Casserole Caddies make the "Deal of the Month"

My sister-in-law, Jennifer Carr and I had a trunk show business years ago.  We would travel to each others house or meet in Austin and sew and sew.  We would store up our wears until we had enough for a show.  We decided to hang up our sign and stop the trunk show business, but Jennifer kept on with the apron portion.
Jennifer has a great business, Jen Rosie Designs "Hot Mama Aprons".  Jennifer had even hired Sarah and I to work some trade shows for her.

The Carr kids start school

Jed started Shelton first.  His first day at Shelton for his 4th grade year.  Looks like he is taking CeCe with him.
James followed with his first day at Lamplighter for his 3rd grade year.  He looks ready.

Olivia actually started her freshman year at SAC first.  She started last Friday.  She is a SAC cheerleader and the prettiest one I might add.

All 3 of these Carr kids go to SAC (San Antonio Christian).  Savannah 3rd grade and Walter kindergarden.  Precious!

One last visit to the Fieldings before Presley is born

If you know Jenna, you know that she has a sweet tooth.  Here is a picture of her candy drawer in her kitchen.  I can't wait until Preston finds this drawer.

Preston was very interested in my purse.  He finally figured out how to get my gum out and made a run for it.

Sugar, "I don't have your gum"

Preston checking out what Uncle Sonny is doing.

Aunt Amy.  He is a Preston favorite.  She calls him her monkey.

Jenna can have Presley Kendall any time in the next 2 weeks.  Can't wait to see her.  If she is half as pretty as Preston, Daddy better watch out.  He is going to have to be beating off the boys.

The Dale Hall's have some speeders in their neighborhood

This happened across the street around 11:30 pm last night.
I've been hearing this pickup screeching around the curve for a few weeks. After last night he won't be playing screeching games any more.

Dale appearing in this news TV video about the "traffic" mayhem on our corner. If you don't watch it as soon as possible it will disappear from their website.

Also a video on this other TV station re: same story without the Halls input:

Anchorage - July 23

On July 23, we went to Whittier.  It is always sh_ _ ier in Whittier as they say.  We started out at the Alaskan Fur Exchange.  It is a quirky little shop that caught Mom and my attention.  We had to see what was inside.  Byrom is sporting a fashionable coat that he found.  The plan was to go to Alyska as well, but we did not make it that far.
On the morning of the 23rd, Byrom was coughing and said that the clean, crisp air was getting to him.

As we were driving to Whittier, there was fresh water on one side and brackish water on the other.  We drove around Turnagain Arm to do just about everything.

We are about to enter the Anton Anderson Memorial tunnel to take us to Whittier.  It is one way and the tunnel is 2.5 miles.  You can only go through tunnel either every 15 minutes or every 30 minutes.  The other time the train is going through tunnel.  There was water coming down the walls of the tunnel.  The temperature dropped 9 degrees between the opening of the tunnel and Whittier.  Whittier is the only land that separates Prince William Sound from Gulf of Alaska.

The Army built Whittier.  At the time there were no residence of Whittier, just Army.  The Army base was later condemned.

All residence (300) live in this high rise.  There are 35 students in the school at Whittier.

The best halibut we had on the whole trip.
