Leakey River Trip 2013

Leakey River Trip 2013 was a BLAST

  We went with Jason, Madelyn (Gretchen's youngest sister), Hanna & Camille Peterson, Becky Peterson (Jason's mom), Jenny Meyer (Gretchen's mom), Jimmy Meyer (Gretchen's dad), Sid, Gretchen, Olivia, Savannah and Walter Carr.  Two friends of Olivia's came as well, Katy & ________

We ate like Kings and Queens the whole time.  When you travel with Meyer girls, you don't go hungry.  Byrom pitched in and friend fish, shrimp and onion rings.  Jason did his part and grilled burgers.

Friday the mom's (minus Susie) went to the river.  Fun was had by all.  Pictured below are Walter, Miranda, Hanna, Camille and Savannah.

 Saturday we went to float the river in Concan.  The Peterson girls stayed at Bungalow #40 with their parents and BB.  It was a perfect float.  The 3 teenage girls attracted a LOT of attention and invitations to go to the dance that night at Harper Rays place.   Sid only had to sign 2 Blake Shelton autographs.  So, so funny.  

One of our many, many GREAT meals at Bungalow #40.  We ate well while at the river.  Byrom took his fryer and he and GG fried up some fine, fine food.  Best onion rings I have ever tasted and some pretty yummy shrimp as well.  

Uncle Byrom jumped in the pool with his clothes on to have a little fune with the kids; Hanna, Walter and Miranda.  Walter and Miranda were so excited that Uncle B was in trouble for getting his clothes wet.  

 The beautiful teenage girls had to be escorted to the dance at the House Pasture to see Roger Craiger by the daddies (Sid, Byrom & Jason).  The guys ran into Kim, Harper and Hunter Ray.  Hunter is doing great, Praise the Lord.

Farewell sweet cousins.  Below is Camille, Miranda and Hanna.  Miranda and Hanna were inseparable the whole weekend.  They even slept together.
