Hi Aunt Susie! We got back from our D.C. trip about a week ago. We saw the Lincoln Memorial, the Jefferson Memorial, the Iwo Jima Memorial, the Washington Monument, the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial, and several museums. My favorite memorial was the Lincoln Memorial. We also saw Fords Theater and went into the Spy Museum. We toured the U.S. capitol with people from Senator Cornyn's office, it was really neat. We went to Uncle Will and Aunt Natalie's house. It was built in 1880!!! Their house is so much different from ours; it is squeezed in between other houses, making it very narrow. We had such a great time in D.C. and I hope to go back sometime!
