Savannah has a Princess 10 year old birthday

GG knows how to throw a birthday party!  Savannah wanted pink and zebra and she got it!  She had 8 little girls over for a sleepover and lots of fun.
Walter and Sid came to Pleasanton so that there was absolutely no testosterone in the house.  Toby joined them.  The men played golf while Walter and Miranda swam and of course we played Skipbo.

Unscheduled was our neighborhood catching on fire.  Our house still stinks, but we were so bless that we did not have the damage that neighbors had.

Miranda and Walter swam for 2.5 hours.  They didn't even realize they missed Savannah's party.

Bradley leaves Pleasanton for Eagle Pass

Bradley moved to Pleasanton several years ago . . . The good times have ended and he is now a full time resident of Eagle Pass.  Eagle Pass gain is our loss.  Did I make the best of the time he was here . . no and I am not happy about that.  Bradley you are the most amazing giving, likable person I have ever know.  I love you

We had a party for him at Eric's to see him off.

Happy birthday Rusty

For 20+ years Rusty Woodland has had a birthday party for himself.  Sid, Scott, James, Wes, Will, Brady, Max, Toby and many more attend.  The guys go to the river and we have learned to treat ourselves when they are gone.
Gretchen invited us to La Cantera Friday night.  We swam, went to the jump house, saw Dinosaur George (from Hondo), an animal show.  It was wonderful, but first we had to have a mani and pedi.

Dinosaur George show.

Happy 47th birthday to me

Sid and Gretchen invited us to Herman Sons restaurant in Hondo for my birthday.  It was absolutely wonderful.  Mom, Jenna, Preston, Presley, Walter, Dr. Meyer and Jenny joined us.  What a treat.  The family bought me a new bed ensemble.  I can't wait to get it and change the look of our bedroom.

Feeling like a princess riding in Jenna's brand new Tahoe.

Sid have a talk with Preston

Now for a good night sleep so that we can enjoy the river.
I only have this picture, but I can assure you it was fun.  Preston rode the rapids and Miranda jumped out of a tree numerous times.  Presley even got in the water.  It was wonderful.  It was my first trip to the Guadalupe (Spring Branch).  Thanks to Robin for showing us the spot.

I go to Denver for business and Miranda has a blast at GG's

We (Karla, Mr. Aragon, Ms. Neumann, and others) went to beautiful Denver for a required conference for the TTIPS Grant.  I dreaded it all summer, but it turned out wonderful.  Denver was so clean and fresh.  It was bit sad because we got there a week after the Aurora shooting, but we managed to make the best of it.

We had the opportunity to donate money and walk to the capital to raise funds for scholarships.  We could dedicate our walk to someone and I chose Byrom.  He kept Miranda most of the summer so that I could attend all of these conferences.

We were able to take off one day and schedule a team building activity by going to Pikes Peak.  It was amazing as you can see.

Miranda stayed with GG and GG decided to turn it into camp GG.  She had a BLAST.  Below is underwater pictures from Sontera.

I think picture is taken at Main Event.  Lots of fun was to be had here!  All outfits are thanks to GG

Joseph and the Technicolor Dream Coat

From Jennifer Carr . . .

My mom took us to see Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat  last
night. It was being performed at the Wylie Theater in the arts district
downtown. The boys LOVED it and were perfect gentlemen. Scott and my Dad
were invited to attend but passed it up, we think they missed out!
