Enchanted Rock May 28, 2012

On May 28, 2012, Byrom, Miranda and I went to Enchanted Rock.  We had lunch at Mamacitas in Fredericksburg before our adventure.  When we drove up to the site, I never imagined that we would get to the top, but we did.  Miranda Morgan said that she actually hiked Enchanted Rock one time in the rain.  I can't imagine.  I twisted my ankle on dry rock.  

We saw deer within 10 feet and fun was had by all.  

This is how most of the hike was with Byrom way ahead of us.

The girls in the paper again.  On their own they went to the 100 Club of San Antonio fundraiser to aid families of fallen public servants.  

In the article, they mixed up the names on both pictures.  '

Presley is now crawling.  She is such a happy baby.  We love her so much.

Miranda's 8th birthday

GG bought Miranda an ice cream birthday cake.

Phase II of Miranda's birthday.  This was actually her birthday.  She had her bestie, Isabela Mendoza come over for presents, a swim and turkey burgers (shhhhh, she doesn't know it was turkey).  We got a pool (white trash version) for her birthday, so presents had a pool theme, snorkel, goggles, diving balls, etc.

A business trip that included a visit to the Scott Carr's New House

Scott & Jennifer built a beautiful new house on a lot on Hockaday in Dallas.  The lot had a house that they had torn down.  Scott gives Jennifer a lot of the credit for constructing such a beautiful home.  

 Savannah joined me on my work/visit.  She and James are 6 weeks apart and such good friends.  They had a ball.  

I included some family trivia one night and Jed won the competition.  Six-four cents was the grand prize.
